PwC Malta and The Malta Chamber double down on business support with renewed sponsorship

PwC Malta renews its Gold Sponsorship with The Malta Chamber, prioritising funding access, digitalisation, property, and workforce challenges.
PwC Malta has renewed its Gold Sponsorship Agreement with The Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry, extending a partnership that ties professional services leadership directly into the strategic priorities of the country's main business lobby.
The renewed deal focuses on four priority areas. Access to national and EU funding will be a central pillar, alongside advancing digitalisation across sectors, tackling developments in the commercial property market, and supporting dialogue on workforce-related matters.
William Spiteri Bailey, President of The Malta Chamber, said the re-confirmation reflects a shared commitment to strengthening Malta's business ecosystem through meaningful collaboration.
"PwC Malta has consistently demonstrated its expertise and leadership across key areas that matter to our members and the wider economy. Together, we will continue to champion initiatives that support innovation, unlock funding opportunities, promote digital transformation, and address the evolving needs of businesses operating in an increasingly competitive environment," he added.
The workforce component of the partnership is particularly significant. Talent shortages, skills gaps, and labour market policies are explicitly named as areas where both organisations will collaborate, recognising that people capacity increasingly constrains growth in a tight labour market.
Lucienne Pace Ross, Territory Senior Partner at PwC Malta, described the agreement as a renewal of the firm's commitment to share knowledge in areas vital for sustainable business growth.
"Through our collaboration with The Malta Chamber, we’re renewing our commitment to share our knowledge in key areas vital for sustainable business growth. This includes funding opportunities, embracing responsible digital change, and addressing shifts in the property market and workforce needs. By joining forces, we can guide businesses through change confidently, bolster resilience, and drive lasting value for Malta’s economy," she stated.
The commercial property angle is another telling inclusion. Rising rents, shifting office demand patterns, and regulatory changes around commercial space are live issues for many Chamber members, and the partnership signals an intent to provide structured guidance on those trends.
PwC Malta has been a valued strategic partner of The Malta Chamber for years, actively contributing expertise to discussions that shape policy and business competitiveness. This renewal deepens that role.
For the business community, the agreement means more than sponsorship visibility. It commits two influential organisations to a joint work programme on funding, technology, property, and people, the four pressure points that define the operating environment for Maltese enterprises today.
