APS Bank has bought back 131,683 shares since its buyback programme began on 10 August 2026.

The bank repurchased 33,828 shares during the week ended 11 September. The transactions were disclosed in a company announcement on 14 September.

APS confirmed the shares bought back are not being cancelled. That means the repurchased stock remains in treasury and could be reissued or used for employee incentives.

The weekly activity included a purchase of 6,828 shares on 7 September at a volume-weighted average price of €0.595. No transaction took place on 8 September, a public holiday.

On 9, 10 and 11 September, the bank bought 9,000 shares each day, all at €0.600 per share.

The buyback is being executed on the Malta Stock Exchange by ReAPS Asset Management Ltd, with sub-delegated powers granted to Curmi & Partners Ltd.

For investors, the continued buyback signals management's view that the stock is undervalued. It also provides a floor for the share price and reduces the number of shares in circulation, which can boost earnings per share.

The programme, now in its second month, has picked up pace. The first week after launch saw smaller volumes. The latest weekly total of 33,828 shares is the highest so far.

Market participants will watch whether APS extends the programme beyond its initial scope. The bank has not disclosed a target number of shares or a budget for the buyback.
