Dizz Finance plc has confirmed the full repayment of its €8 million, 5% unsecured bond, following the completion of a corporate transaction involving D Shopping Malls Limited. The issuer announced that repayment was completed on 5 October 2026.

The bonds had been scheduled for redemption on 7 October, meaning the company confirmed repayment two days before their contractual maturity date. Originally issued in September 2016, the securities were admitted to the Malta Stock Exchange’s Official List the following month.

“For a market where defaults have dented sentiment, the full repayment reinforces trust.”

The source of the repayment funds was confirmed in a separate announcement by D Shopping Malls Finance plc, also dated 5 October. It stated that the transaction with an investor had concluded and that D Shopping Malls Limited had been transferred. Dizz Group received the consideration, which was then used to repay the Dizz Finance bond.

Completion follows an earlier update issued on 31 August, when Dizz Finance said the prospective investor had secured funding and that the funds were being held in escrow. That announcement reiterated that proceeds from the planned transaction would be applied towards repayment of the October 2026 bonds.

The October disclosures confirm that both the corporate transaction and the resulting bond repayment have been completed. In its redemption announcement, Dizz Finance thanked bondholders for their support throughout the preceding ten years.

From a business perspective, the disclosures show the direct connection between the group’s corporate transaction and its debt repayment plans: completion released the funds required to settle the maturing bond. For holders of the 2026 securities, the announcement confirms that the repayment process has concluded.
