Malta International Airport bought back 1,648 shares during the week ending 11 September 2026, all at €6.60 per share.

The purchases were split across two trading days. On 7 September, the company acquired 779 shares. On 9 September, it bought another 869 shares in two separate trades: 684 shares and 185 shares, both at the same price.

Rizzo, Farrugia & Co executed the transactions on MIA's behalf.

The weekly disclosure confirms the company is sticking with the existing terms of its share buyback programme. No changes to the programme were announced.

For shareholders, the steady but modest weekly volume suggests MIA is taking a measured approach to returning capital. The buyback signals confidence in the company's valuation at the current price level, though the impact on market liquidity remains limited.

MIA's buyback programme has been running for some time. The latest activity keeps the initiative ticking without any shift in strategy.
