IHI takes Corinthia brand to the Caribbean with Grace Bay ultra-luxury resort

IHI announces a Corinthia resort and branded residences on Grace Bay, Turks and Caicos, marking the group's first North American project.
International Hotel Investments plc has announced on 23 September 2026 an agreement with Carolina Partners Ltd. to develop a new ultra-luxury Corinthia resort and branded residential project on Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos. The deal is part of IHI’s strategy to grow its international footprint through partnerships, acquisitions and real estate development.
The project will be built on the last undeveloped beachfront site on Grace Bay, one of the Caribbean’s most sought-after tourism destinations. Corinthia Real Estate Ventures, IHI’s property development arm, originated the project and will oversee financing, design, construction and residential sales.
Plans include a 50-suite luxury Corinthia hotel, an exclusive collection of branded residences and beachfront villas. The resort will offer multiple swimming pools, a spa and wellness centre, restaurants, retail outlets, a beach club and padel courts.
Construction is scheduled to begin in 2027. Once completed, the resort will be operated by Corinthia Hotels.
This is C-REV’s first project in North America and strengthens Corinthia’s international portfolio, which includes developments in Malta, Italy, the Maldives, the Middle East and other strategic markets. Financial details have not been disclosed.
For Malta’s business community, the announcement underscores IHI’s ambition to expand the Corinthia brand into new luxury markets. Securing a prime site in the Caribbean signals confidence in the group’s ability to compete in the global ultra-luxury hospitality and branded residences sector.
